MECCA & NGVWomen in Design Commission 2025

Women in Design Commission 2025 celebrates the work of the remarkable Nipa Doshi, co-director of Studio Doshi Levien. Women in Design is celebrated by our favourite teams with a collaboration of Mecca and the National Gallery of Victoria, consisting of scenography for Great Hall, stages for design conversations and workshop areas. Guests sat around colourful geometric tables, inspired by Nipa Doshi’s optimistic and joyful vision, stamping silk scarves creating a mini artwork of their own that they could take home.
